About us
As a family my parents, cousins, siblings and I helped our grandparents run White’s Orchard from 1980-2000. My grandmother, Gerri White, and grandfather, Ron White, purchase the orchard property from Bob Zech in 1980.
In 2000 my uncle, Dennis White, took over the orchard with his wife and daughter.
The Niblett family purchased the orchard in 2008 from my cousin.
We are excited to continue the family tradition of farming an orchard while embracing the friendly atmosphere the Niblett famiy has established.

Paula Red
Crisp, slightly tart and tangy in taste.

Wealthy
Gala
Juicy, mildly sweet flavor, smooth finish. Great for eating, salads, baking and drying. Keeps well.
Semit-sweet. Good for eating, excellent for pies and chunky sauce. Keeps slightly longer than Mac.
Crispy, tart flavor. Good for eating, pies, chunky sauce and freezing.
Keeps well.
Wolf River
Crisp with little flavor. Great for sauces, apple butter, drying, baking. Doesn’t keep well.
Connel Red
Sweet, rich flavor. Good for eating, sauces, and bakes down well. Keeps well.
N.W. Greening
Crisp and tart like a Granny Smith. Good for eating, salads, baking and drying. Keeps great!
Regents
Sweet like a Honey Crisp. Great for eating or baking. Keeps very well in the fridge.
Zestar
Sprightly sweet, tart taste with a slight taste of maple sugar.
Eating, baking or making sauce.
Keeps well.
Sweet 16
Uniquely flavored, sweet, juicy, crisp. Excellent for eating, pies and sauces. Keeps well.

- Spend time outdoors playing mini-golf, climbing on the tire tunnel, digging in the corn bin and relaxing on a wagon ride.

Permits are required for any photo session at Family Roots Orchard.
Flat Fee:
$35 per session - ideal for a one time family or individual session
Annual Pass:
The $100 annual pass allows for multiple visits throughout the year. Enjoy all seasons; apple blossoms in the summer, apples and pumpkin patch in the fall and woodland backdrop in the winter.
Option to add apples and/or apple crate and props for a small charge.
